Editorial method
How guides are prepared
I publish a guide only when its scope can be stated without blurring local rules.
Sources first
I start with primary sources where they are available: public authorities, standards bodies, network operators, manufacturers and official technical documentation. Secondary sources can help identify a question but do not replace the source that establishes a rule.
Country scope
Every guide is written for its stated market. Similar voltage, language or equipment does not make a rule transferable. International material is identified as such and never presented as a substitute for local requirements.
Field observations
Photos, tool use and installation observations come from my own work when stated. They show a real situation, not a universal instruction. Work on live circuits, damaged conductors, heat, smoke or water near electricity requires a qualified local electrician.
Updates, corrections and commercial transparency
I update a guide when a material fact changes or an error is found. Product loans, gifts and sponsored relationships are disclosed in the relevant article.
